Yoon & Yang – VILAF Korea-Vietnam Practice Unit

Starting from November 2025, Yoon & Yang and VILAF have entered into a professional collaboration, whereby VILAF will host senior legal professionals from Yoon & Yang to establish a dedicated practice unit in VILAF’s Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi offices in the name of Vietnam-Korea Practice Unit or Korea-Vietnam Practice Unit, creating a dedicated platform to provide high-quality legal services to Korean businesses navigating through complex legal matters in Vietnam.  This initiative aims to enhance cross-border understanding of legal practices and foster stronger cultural and professional ties between the two top-tier firms.

Instigated to deliver better services to the client, the Korea-Vietnam Practice Unit provides clients in Korea and Vietnam with access to a broad range of top-tier legal services tailored to clients’ unique ambitions and challenges, with respect to cross-border investments, M&A and financing transactions as well as complex dispute cases in Vietnam.

The Korea-Vietnam Practice Unit is managed by Mr. Zunu Lee, the head of cross-border practice of Yoon & Yang, whose versatility in handling cross-border M&A and investment is well known in Korea as well as Vietnam. In Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Hyunwoo Dang, a seasoned expert bilingual in Korean and Vietnamese who has completed the necessary courses at the Vietnam Judicial Training and Research Institute resides at VILAF’s Hi Chi Minh City office to facilitate legal services with VILAF’s lawyers and experts.
